Question 2.2-channel soundbar in an all-in-one design ?

What are your thoughts on 2.2-channel soundbars with all-in-one designs? Have you owned one before, and if so, what was your experience like? Are there any specific brands or models that you would recommend or advise against?

Soundbars offer a lot of benefits. They are easy to install, user-friendly and don't take up much space. Moreover, they can enhance sound quality far beyond what the built-in speakers on your TV deliver.

It really depends on what you're after. The biggest of course, is that they can't really offer the same experience as a true surround sound system. They may have something that might mimic it, but it doesn't really approach the real thing.

But for the most part, most sound bars are better than whatever comes built-in the TV or monitor if the aim is to get something better than that.
