2.92GB usable out of 8GB

CPU-Z and windows seems to see that I have 8gb usable but System(Win 7) says that only almost 3GB is usable.

How so?

Using 32 bit windows 7? Then that's about right. Also be sure to check your motherboard specs. It may only recognize part of your ram if it's an older model. 64 bit windows will detect and use 8 gb only if your board can utilize it.

if you have 32 bit version than that is right! if you are using 64 bit then follow these steps.
1.click on start button and select run
2.type "msconfig" press enter a windows will appear look at the top BOOT.ini option and select it.
3.now after that click on "advanced option"
4.now tick the first box and increase the memory of it's maximum level then click on OK and reboot your system.

Looking at your signature the problem is right there: You have a 32 bit version of windows. You need a 64 bit operating system to use more than around 3GB.
