that's an odd connundrum - are you sure you mean GTX 550?

the choice is yours really but 2 x GTX 460 in SLI can be on a par with GTX 570/580 depending upon whether you overclock the cards.

The GTX 460 still costs more than the GTX 550 despite being an older card, look at this for a comparison:

http://www.hwcompare.com/9691/geforce-gtx-460-1gb-vs-geforce-gtx-550-ti/

so, 1 x GTX 460 is greater than 1 x GTX 550Ti
GTX 460 SLI is way better than 1 x GTX 550Ti (as stated before GTX 460 SLI can be on a par with GTX 570/580)

you need to have a closer look at your PSU specs to be certain it will cope with GTX 460 SLI, but at 620w I would hope so. Is your motherbard SLI ready and is the 2nd lane you are intending to use free from obstruction by anything else in the case?

so i should get this:
Core i5 - 2500
3.3GHz CPU
8Gb DDR3 Ram
2Tb Hard Drive
DVD Burner
Gaming Case
620W Power
with 2 GTX 460's.
but would a 620W psu be good enough??

It'd be cutting it extremely close with an OC'ed 2500. Which PSU is it? Antec High Current Gamer?

You need to find out WHAT PSU it is because it will be a crucial factor in if your build will work at all. Here's a better idea. Get a single GTX 560 Ti which can be overclocked to 460 SLI performance while costing less, being quieter, and producing less heat.

you right! but when he overclock gtx460 sli than the performance is going double than that of gtx560ti.

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/314?vs=330

look at the link gtx460sli with non oc'ing performance is high and when its start oc'ing than guess how much the performance of gtx460 sli has?

Hey. GTX 560 Ti > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > GTX 460 when you OC to about 1000. And 620w can't handle OC GTX 460's seeing how one will take up about 300w when OCed.
