at current i have a 120Gb drive with xp sp1a on it C:. i am going to get a 200Gb drive which i want to install a slipstream XP SP2 on. i want the 200Gb to become C: then i will have the 120Gb as D:. after i put xp sp2 on the 200Gb i will have 2 copies of xp (one on the 200Gb one on the 120Gb). after coping some files from the 120Gb to the 200Gb, i will reformat the 120 so it's empty.

my question is could any errors or conflicts occur while there are 2 xps on my pc???

It shouldn't be too big of a problem, you will have to unplug the other drive until you have Windows XP up and running on the 200, otherwise the 200 won't be C:, and you are liable to end up with a boot menu (With both drives plugged in during install).

Just unplug the 120, install windows to the 200, then copy your files, then format the 120 to get rid of all those system files (quick format will work great).
