2 Way SLI or Crossfire + PSU

I'm looking to save up 900 dollars to buy two high end graphics cards and a better power supply. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions besides two gtx 670s.

Two good 670 gtx(msi pe, gigabyte windforce 3x, asus dcii, evga ftw or signature 2) and a decent psu with 750W.

what if you could save up $100 more to get the GTX 690 or by the 7990 and not have any of the Crossfire/SLI problems??

they are both good cards dont get me wrong but ATM the HD 7990 is 3-7 FPS in front of the 690 and you could probably overclock the 7990s as well

690 and 7990 are pretty high end cards, but I would have to go with 690. Much cooler, only takes up two slots, a LOT quieter, and has Nvidia's adaptive vsync and other driver benefits.

you could go with sli 660 ti and a 750 watt i recommend the msi power edition cards as you can over clock the out of them

No need for the language or a 750w PSU, SLi'd 660Ti's can be run on a good 620w PSU.

The 690 gtx is a 11" card.
The 7990 is a 12.4" card.

Ok I'll probably go for the 690 since it does better in Battlefield 3 than the 7990

It's a good option if you want a single card with two gpus, it has a lower power consumption vs two 680 gtx, the card itself screams of quality.
The other option is two cheap 670 gtx.
