Just built a new PC for a friends business as his motherboard went in his old PC and trying to setup everything with his new one. He has an HP scanjet 8250 from 2003. It shows up in device manager with a yellow triangle. I have installed both the drivers and firmware from hp's website however despite it showing up in device manager it does not show up in printers and scanners in settings. I click Printer I am looking for is not listed > My scanner is a little older help me find it > and nothing shows up after the search. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Double checked driver details in device manager and windows says no drivers are needed or were installed. I re-launched the installation package multiple times and nothing. Other two printers were printing withing two minutes of connecting to pc.
