Hi,

So I finally upgraded my PC to following:

Intel i5 13400F
Gigabyte B760M DS3H
Cooler master 650Watts Bronze SMPS
16GB Corsair 4800Mhz DDR5
WD Blue 500GB NVME
Nvidia Gigabyte 2060 Super
Su-Kam 600VA (old) UPS

After a week a so, while I was playing Hogwarts my PC shuts off! On inspection I find that the SMPS was not powering up. Since it was under warranty I got a replacement.

Everything was alright but after three months, one day when I turn my PC on I get the usual beep sound and then the system just turns off! When I pushed the power button again, nothing happens but I get a smell of something burning. I open the cabinet and smell the GPU and can feel the smell. Since it was under warranty I take it to the service center. After a week they inform me that the PCB is burned and there's no way to repair the card, neither they'll provide any replacement since its physical damage which is not covered under warranty!
According to the service center guy the PCB could be burned due to power supply. I informed him that its a new Power supply but he kept pressing on it that its the faulty SMPS.

I'm now confused as to what to do? If I buy a new graphic card and the same thing happens again then I'll loose all my money?!

I think it could be an issue with the old UPS that I'm using, but I'm not sure.

Please help!

You need a new power supply.
Not the cheap crap you have ,but a quality one.
Cheap power supplies die and kill whatever is connected to them.
Your first one probably damaged the card and the second one finished killing it.
Post a link to what is available to you and we can help you with a quality one.

Your power supply options are limited. Very sad, indeed.
The best value Very good power supply is the TX 550.
Seven year warranty and a wide voltage range for low voltage occasions. AND every working protection a power supply should have.

I'll be adding a RTX 2060 super later and this card needs a minimum of 550Watts. Also, in future if I upgrade my GPU won't this power supply prove to be bottle neck?

I did some research and found the following products;

Cooler Master

Deep Cool (I'm not sure about their power supply!)

Cooler Master 750 (Gold) This one's way over my budget, but I can think about this!!!

Can you actually just *say* the PSU models rather than linking to them? Or at least link to the PSUs without using a janky URL shortener?

I did not use any link shortener. I clicked on the "Insert link" button to copy paste the link.

Anyway, here's the name of the PSU I'm using right now : Cooler Master MWE 650 Bronze V2 Power Supply - Non-Modular | 80 Plus Bronze Certified | 120mm HDB Fan | DC-to-DC Circuit Design | 2 EPS Connector | ATX 2.52 Version | 650 Watt

I budget is a concern get the TX550.
It will output 550 watts all day long @50c for its entire 7 year warranty period.
I ran one for folding for 5 years with a GTX 1070SC @2000mhz and I5 6600 system. 24/7/365
Most recommendations are over rated to account for cheap power supplies not putting out their advertised wattage.
I do not know of a better deal in your area. the rest on amazon are out of your budget range or another cheap power supply.
