The mobo supports 2133 / 2400 / 2666MHz. What will happen if I add XMP 3000MHz RAM, and enable the XMP? Will the RAM work faster than the mobo's 2666 limit?

Four things can happen
1- It does support the speed and will work (look at BIOS UPDATE)
2- Will work but max 2666 (will underclock the ram)
3- Will boot bur run into trouble (BSOD, freeze ect.)
4- Computer won't boot at all
so it max at 2666, if the ram don't have a xmp profile at 2666, it might right at 2133.
Go to the memory manufacturer website and look at the spec/manual
