Hey guys,
I am looking at some choices as to monitors for an Eyefinity setup.
I am trying to decide between 21.5" vs 24" 1920 x 1080 monitors. The money is not the issue. My thinking is that the smaller monitor with the higher resolution will have the clearer picture simply because it is squishing more pixels into less real estate. However, the larger monitors are more likely to fill my field of vision and thus seem more realistic (although 21.5 could never be honestly described as a "small" monitor).
1. The 21.5 inch monitor I am considering is a Lenovo (#L2261) LCD (nice deep blacks, bright colors) at $150. One negative of these is that they have no VESA mounts; however they do have tiny bezels - good for Eyefinity.
2. The 24 inch monitor I am considering is the ViewSonic (#VX2450wm-LED) at 189.99. This has amazing reviews comparing the screen color and quality to the 27" Apple Display. It does have VESA brackets and 3 of these would be massive, but the bezels are wider.
So, in typing this I have just about convinced myself that the ViewSonic is the way to go (massive, beautiful, immersive), but since I've gone to the trouble of typing the question, I guess I should still ask people's opinions
