Hi,

My second monitor that I've had since 2014 just recently broke and I'm looking to buy a replacement. I also want to take this opportunity to try out a dual monitor mount/stand.
My main monitor currently is the "Samsung 24" Odyssey G3 Gaming Monitor" which I'm happy with, however it's not available to purchase easily in my country anymore so I'd like to find a replacement. (1920x1080, 144hz)

I have two questions;
1 Do you have any suggestions on monitors that have the same dimensions and similar specs, that are more easily available currently?
2 If both monitors have "VESA" 100x100, does that mean they can be mounted on the same stand?

Thankful for any help!

/David

Where would this mysterious country be located on the world map? We would also need a budget, a preferred site for purchase and if you can, what GPU you're currently working with.

2| If both monitors have "VESA" 100x100, does that mean they can be mounted on the same stand?
The answer to that is relative to your stand and monitor. You should pass on the link to the stand since they usually have a limit to what sort of weight they can keep up.

1) As for monitor availability what purchase sources are available to you within your county? I will defer that question to those knowledgeable about such countries and sources.

What makes and models are readily available to you?

2) Yes - if truly VESA 100 x100 you should be able to reuse the current VESA arm or stand.

Check the applicable monitor User Guide/Manuals. There should be a section on installation/mounting.

Read the details and warnings.

Look out for words such as "compatible with". Or some not so obvious need for an adapter of some sort.

For example the monitor may fit in some sort of big frame that is mounted to a VESA compatible arm.

Adapter

Not really VESA
