[SOLVED] 2400mhz to 1600mhz (HOW TO MANUALLY SET IN BIOS?)

Hi, I'm using i7 4770 which only supports 1600mhz and my ram frequency is currently 1333mhz stock in BIOS and I want to manually set to 1600mhz.

My ram is Vengeance Pro DDR3 2400mhz 11-13-13-31 1.65V
XMP profile is 2400mhz which my CPU can't handle it's the non k version. Please need you guys expertise. I'm using Gigabyte ga-z97x-ud5h.

Your motherboard supports 2400MHz memory and you do not need an overclockable CPU to run that memory speed. Assuming that the memory is compatible, which I expect that it is, you should be able to enable XMP and select the speed there in the bios along with the associated timings.
