Hi
I have many 2532's and I need to program / read them. Does anyone know how
to make an adaptor so i can plug them into my programmer as a 2732? I have
made one using 2 sockets and connecting pin18(2532) to 21 and 20(2532) to 18
I also tried connecting pin 21(2532) to 20 of the 2732 socket for
programming but I could not read or program these. Any ideas what I am doing
wrong?
Thanks

I have tried both methods decribed here with no luck! every time I read the
2532 it comes up with a different checksum

yes it radar scope, I have managed to program the file onto a 2732 and then
using an adaptor read it with my old programmer as a 2532 and copy it, long
way round but works. My Top2003 programmer has a problem Technically it
looks possible but I have not gone into great depth regards programming
algorithms as they could be a problem.
Pin 18 on 2532 is A11 and that is pin 21 on 2732
Pin 20 on 2532 is Enable (active low) plus Progr (active low) and that is
pin 18 on 2732 Chip Enable (active low)
Pin 21 of the 2532 is Vpp and that is pin 20 on the 2732 plus Output Enable
(active low)
I think the crossed signal dual functions cause a bit of a prob that's why
it didn't work.
