Excuse me guys I'm currently stuck in whether buying a ryzen 6 2600x with an AIO or an ryzen 7 2700x with its stock cooler keeping in consideration that i want to overclock the cpu as far as possible because I'll use it in gaming

Unless you want the extra cores/threads of the 2700x, there's little point in going down that route. I run my 2700x at stock, and the main reason I bought it was to save money on a 3rd party cooler.

Not sure you can get much of an OC from a 2700x, so bear that in mind.

The 2x cpu's are honestly not worth overclocking for anything other than bragging rights.

Precision boost 2 is THAT effective under gaming use there's virtually no performance difference.
