Hi All,
I have a Crucial MX500 M2. SATA SSD(2280) in my Acer Predator Helios 300, but when I try to plug it to my new Legion 5 Pro, it doesn't show up anywhere ( BIOS only shows NVME SSD that is Disk 0) .

I checked it by plugging it back into Acer and the laptop was booting fine from the ssd .

Please help on how can I fix this issue.

Solution
Are you sure, it supports sata M.2 drives?
It might support nvme M.2 drives only.

And why exactly are you moving M.2 drive from one laptop to another?
Moving OS drive to another computer usually requires reinstallation of windows.
If you don't reinstall windows, following issues get introduced:
boot mode compatibility - system doesn't boot,
drivers incompatibilities - bsods, crashes, bad performance,
windows activation issues.
