I dont really like my motherboard's soundcard so I want to connect my headset via usb, do I have to buy a hole different soundcard or can i buy an adapter that will do the job?

You may want to post what you don't like about the soundcard in the system. With the fact you did not know how to connect the headset, you may be trying to fix the wrong issue or there may not be an issue at all. You also did not list what headset you have or what you did to verify the issue is the soundcard and not the headset. Is it the sound quality? Getting extra noise? Mic not loud? What?

Ok so the problem is mainly the volume and the depth of the sound. My headphones ( https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Ste...logitech+g332&qid=1564248636&s=gateway&sr=8-1 ), can have much deeper and loud sound. I have heard them from an external soundcard that a friend of mine has and it can be way better.

Issue is that an external sound card would cost the same as your headphones cost. This is probably the cheapest one worth getting, but keep in mind anything "good" would be close to $100. https://www.amazon.com/Creative-Hea...=B00J2JATL0&psc=1&refRID=N1QZPKTR6RV5Y08CCYRH

This Fiio is probably the cheapest one on the better side https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074P7C9JR/ref=psdc_13880161_t1_B07GKXHW1K?th=1

So the only solution is to buy an external card?

Or you can try another headset, this one has had amazing reviews for the price https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Swiveled-Neodymium-Omni-Directional/dp/B07JH3LSHN It's based on a good base of a headphone and they added a mic to it. You can also try just a cheap amp for the headset but really that is doing half the job if you feel the sound is lacking and cheap amp cheap dac can make it sound louder but worse.
