3 Monitors Card

Hi, I apologize for this thread being created again, and yes I have search above but I am still confused... and need your expertise.

I would like to custom build a pc with 3 monitors that will be use for work, news, creating website, possible video editing in the future but no games at all and I want to make it a 3 monitors. SO I noticed that there is lots of video cards that come with 2 DVI 1 HDMI 1 DP etc.. etc... but I was wondering: Can I actually connect 3 monitors to just that 1 card? meaning, can I connect 2 monitors in DVI and 1 in HDMI and work? If so, can you recommend a video card that could be affordable and that can get the job done for the above things....

Also, where can i find out the best parts currently in market to purchase, I haven't catch up the tecnology in years... thank you!

you can connect 2 monitors in DVI and 1 in HDMI and it will work or just get "Y" split cable
R9 270x (recommended GPu upto 6 monitors supported)

You can run as many monitors as there are ports on the back of the card with only a few exceptions, its just a matter of plugging them in.
