Solution
Not for most AAA games. A 3060Ti is equivalent to a 2080. So it will struggle to hold even 144FPS for most AAA games at ultra 1440p. On well optimized games sure you may get up to 200FPS, but you need at least a 3080/3090 if you want to hit those frame rates for most games. Games like WoW and CSGO are light weight and will reach 240FPS easily with a 3060Ti but CoD MW will need to be on medium quality to get that high.

Also to note FPS still feels smooth and amazing even when it's not running the full 240hz, 120 FPS is amazingly smooth, 60 FPS is also amazingly smooth if you know no different, but going from higher FPS back to 60FPS then you can tell a difference at competitive levels on CSGO or LoL. The key is to keep those frames stable when playing competitively and that system you have/might be getting will play everything like a beast ultra stable, even minesweeper. I have just got a 1080p Aorus IPS the new 240hz £400 which is cheap for it's type imo and I have no regrets, if you are going for competitive e-sports then that's the route to take imo and not 27 inch. All pros play 24inch for a reason, 1440p resolution and 27inch is best kept for immersion along with 4k, not to say you can not compete on those monitors, it's just that for the absolute best you can be 1080p with the fastest monitor you can get is still the right choice.

You didn't read the end of my comment did you?
"Games like WoW and CSGO are light weight and will reach 240FPS easily with a 3060Ti but CoD MW will need to be on medium quality to get that high." And I mentioned that the 3060 Ti is equivalent to a 2080 because for games that haven't been benchmarked on the 3060Ti yet you can look up benchmarks using the 2080.
