Is it possible intel uses different manufacturing processes for servers, though that seems to expensive, it could be why servers are more expensive.

What about microcode?

Wouldn't that have an effect on the characteristics of otherwise identical chips?

I know it is primarily the grounds CISC processors but I believe microcode is still used in modern x86 RISC processors.

Or am I looking in the wrong direction?

That’s not bad for the 3050 but I was looking for something along the lines of the 3060.
At 3600 the E6600 out performs the 3050 at 3985
I dropped my oc down for a more realistic achievable oc for those who may not have liquid cooling

I’m curious if anyone has a screenshot of the 3060 at 400fsb ram 4:5 ddr1000.
I’m more interested on the Vcore than the SuperPi

That SuperPI was run just to show stability, maybe it wasnt run right after booting, etc. Besides youre running 4:5 so no fair! Gimme a 1:1 so we can compare.

give me a minute and I'll reboot. :D
that 1.6 volts on the 3050 is a tad high considering the vdroop on the asus boards but hey thats a nice oc 8)

I have a crosshair, and I'm sure that if I had the 4800 I could, but I bought the 4000 for the cache and the price, I doubt my ram can handle ddr2-1200 speeds (I am buying 2gigs of super talent-the 4-4-3-8 ones, can't afford the better dominators)

Can am2 systems run at different ram dividers? As far I know, my bios won't let me change it. because if I could change that, I could hit 3ghz, I have gotten my processor to 3ghz, but my ram wouldn't let me post (the crosshair lets you do that)

You'll love the Supertalent @ 4 4 3 8
they will run about 1100 with 2.3volts @ 5 4 4 12
maybe even better for you

with stock voltage you will maintain 4 4 3 8 at ddr800
with stock 2.2 volts you can run ddr1000 at 5 4 4 10 and with a clean operating system 1066 at 4 4 4 12 with north bridge @ 1.45 volts.
the lower latencys of this module actually looses ground for lets say 3 3 3 14 but will run flawlessly at higher ram voltages at around 2.35volts.
thats when heat is an issue with the stock sinks on the super talent.
with the dominator fan over the super talent you can run 1200 at 2.4volts with a little more north bridge volts 1.55
