A xFx 4770 512........I get a nice O/C out of it....915/1015 stock 750/800... The o/c is good for 20% fps in every game. I pan on the 5770 , but as of today one is available for 130 !!!!
I would have gone that route if I could have gotten that deal the week I bought parts.
Competition is good. The market plays with these card prices, right now , the GTX 260 is priced super high, but you can get a 4850 for 100 again.

The 15396 was with a non approved driver so it doesn't show up in public searches, the 15311 and 15307 are with "legit" drivers...

I need to d/l Vantage and try some from that....

.. to much snow and ice to head to work, so....

pretty much same info as above, have been smoothing out the oc (3.7) paying attention to getting the memory running like it should. Did get into ATI overdrive and played some with the gpu and mem running those @ 675 and 1098, should be some more room in there for more.

Wasn't a real good snow for doing anything with...we got around 8 inches of it but instead of fluffy, snowball making sort of snow it was like a chunk of ice. The poor dogs would go outside and be walking across the top and just fall through after a few steps :)

@ videl : If I remember correctly you are using a HD4850 also, if so any specific tweaks to go to after CCC overdrive? That really seems to be where the biggest gains are coming from in my tweaking.

I should of spent the day putting a spreadsheet together to examine combinations, or should of begged around or googled to see if someone has a good one made up, hint, hint 😉 been years since I fooled around in excel....

ya ya 😀 i upped my score i can get just under 15,000 now but thats with a overclock thats about to crush my graphics card lol.. im talking about 900core 1150 memory * 4850HD

Yes yes my mobo limits my e8400 so i can not get the 4.0 i was looking for. I may buy a new motherboard for my computer or build a entire new system. *selling this one in the process. Anyone looking for a 650-700$ pc? 😀
