Ryan closed videl's thread so i decided to re-open 😉

Much appreciated :)

Riva tuner is keeping me from getting my Score. Because I put back the clocks. Used CCC Overclocking tool and With 700core and 1100 memory i got 14355 Meaning Riva tuner is Too outdated to give me the score im looking for. So in order to do so I need to find Stable clocks and Just use the Bios editor and hope i dont ruin the graphics card.

Installed Windows XP and Lost my windows 7 -_-"" I might have to Re format my pc.. -_-"""... Im currently on windows 7 BUT my product key went with the install...and I Dont have my product key. AS i had to call microsoft To obtain it.

Is the product key still on the system ? you could try using the MagicJellyBean to retrieve it ( Linkie ) - It will retrieve all of the product keys that are stored on the system so wouldn't hurt to give it a try !!

im magic and got it back >D. Hopefully Everything is well and all my installs work properly

Yep - 6 days with no new posts is a bit dead ! - just for you I'll post my newest 3dmark06 scores - Finally got the new TX3 Heatsink\Fan installed and things are running much cooler !! - The CPU idles at 34 -35C and only gets to 56C under Prime95 @3.2GHz (much better than the stock cooler that was idling at 46C and got to 69C under Prime95 @3.0 Ghz.) - Still haven't had time to do any real OC testing to see just how far this CPU can go but it's running 100% Stable at 3.2 GHz. on only 1.31V so should still have a good amount of room !! Also bumped the 5770 up a very small amount to see what kind of improvement it makes and a 25Mhz. core boost raised the Pixel fillrate by .4 GPixels and the Texture Fillrate by 1.0 GTexels and a 50 Mhz increase to the memory bumped the Bandwidth up from 76.4 GB\s to 80.0 GB\s - should be able to get quite a bit better score after finding the right combination of settings on the GPU and CPU with some testing !!

The Temps are the CPU overall Temp reported by the sensor - The individual internal Core temp sensors always reported about 8-10C lower than the overall CPU reading while it was a Triple core so the sensor is probably still reporting it higher than what the individual cores would be by about 8C so the actual Temps are most likely closer to 27C idle and 48C under prime95 but I go by the readings that are reported just to be safe (figure as long as I stay below 65 - 68C according to that sensor I'll not be getting anywhere close to having to worry about the CPU downclock that is set for 73C on the X3 720 CPU. )

Scores were :

16797 3dmarks
SM 2.0 6246
SM 3.0 8795
CPU 4188

On a X4 940 CPU @ 3.0Ghz. with a 5770 GPU and 4GB Ram

SO his SM2.0 and CPU scores were lower than my X3 720 @ 3.2Ghz. but somehow managed 1415 points higher on the SM 3.0 score with the same GPU I have 😗

NRNX - What version Driver are you using on your 5770 ? (Guess maybe the new drivers have improved the SM3.0 scores perhaps - I hadn't updated yet due to hearing there were some problems with the latest release so was waiting for the next release.) - Or the 2.0 GBs of RAM I have is not enough for the test so the 4 GBs makes a difference.

Thats another possibility if he has Dual 5770s vs. my single card. ( though then it's strange he didn't do better on the SM2.0 tests as well)

Im going to test at 3Ghz and compare scores... brb...
