Changed from Thermalright Chill factor to AC MX-2 here is the results

Big drop in temps, with chiil factor after 4 minutes It was at 58/59C now its at 50C : ) 20C drop from my old TRUE 120 lapped with push-pull fans Happy days.

yea the MX-2 really performs, MX-3 is also a top-notch but its a bit more $$ 🙁

So I'll have to accept that 26400 is the highest score I'm going to get until I get a second HD5850.

yea 1.5v is kinda high but I have seen higher w/o any issues... I guess it all depends on the CPU you get. Some like more, some like less =)

Yeah I think I got a fairly average CPU this time round, I'm happy with 4Ghz though ....its come along way from 2.66Ghz : )

I intend to keep this CPU for a few years yet so no more crazy voltages

Congrats on winning the drawing 😉 , the game is just plain awesome.. So good that I went to bed at 3:30am and woke up at 6am and played again till 7:30am, then I had to go to work 🙁

now all I think about is the dam game...lol

How does it run on your system, and what settings do you use?

Well to be honest I thought it would be less demanding on the GPU. I can run BF2 on the highest settings and still manage well over 60FPS (v-sync off). But the visuals on BC2 are second to none, even at medium settings.

I run the game at 3.9Ghz w/ GTX 260 (15% OC) @ 1680x 1050 (v-sync ON) and manage to get a constant 60FPS using "medium" settings. Of course once you have 2 choppers and countless explosions the frames go down to about 40ish... On ultra I get around 32FPS min and 56FPS max depending on the map.

Now im in need of a 120Hz monitor and hopefully a GTX 470 =)

I was suprised to see a GTX260 in the recommended spec for the game, made me think that the game must be pretty demanding, glad to hear you have no trouble running the game even on high settings.

Are you planning on going 3D vision with that 120Hz monitor?

I have no idea, I like the concept of 3D vision and eyefinity, both look awesome to me, but thats alot of money that I could spend elsewhere.

I would rather have Fermi or AMD equivalent and a nice screen ....
