3rd level under the Dry Hills

Is there a bug in Diablo 2 with LOD expansion? I've spent two hours
running around level 1 and 2 under the Dry Hills, but I can't find
level 3. The only exits in level 1 and 2 are either back to the Stony
waste, or from level 1 to 2. I'm going bananas trying to find level
3. Can anyone help?

u mean in the halls of the dead... there is a lv 3

First of all you probably should find the way from the Rocky Waste to
the Dry Hills, and there you will find the Halls of the Dead.
Currently you are simply in the wrong area. Have a look at this map
layout, it might help you:

Many thanks. Oh God, what an idiot. All Sunday afternoon running
around the wrong area looking for the cube. My brain hurts. The
chance of ever finishing this is minuscule!
