Need help setting this system up.. i have 3 r9 290s. Replaced the psu in my case and pulled the old card. Put the new card in and now i can't get any signal for display at all. Not even with my old card i have no clue what to do

Sorry it cut my description. Yea i have the parts and 1 card is already in. But I'm not getting any signal. No display at all. Mobo is a p8p67 deluxe or pro or whatever. The cpu led is on but I'm pretty sure it stays on

I doubt it is the board.
Or the new card.

So it would leave when putting the new Psu in, forgetting to connect a power supply to the board.

If the system does not post, or power up properly, or the bios does not produce a single beep to say everything is working as expected.

Check the Atx 24 pin block, and the eight pin block are connected to the motherboard.
And that the extra power feeds from the psu are connected to the Pci-e 12v power point on the R9 cards.

May I ask what brand of power supply you replaced the old one with?
And how many watts it is.

The psu is a corsair ax1200. The multi pin connector is in the board and the Atx power is plugged into the board as well. There's no beeps for the bios posting. I pulled the bios battery and still nothing..

So you have one card in.
And its in the primary Pci-e slot. Blue.

Have a look at the motherboard status error Leds, if it shows no errors.
Then the likely cause as to no picture will be down to the Dvi port used.

Dvi cable you have.
It may be a case that you need to swap Dvi ports if there are two or the cable.

The cpu led is red and on. But i think it stays on or was the last time it was running. And I tried all ports.. Both dvi and hdmi. I've tried different cables.. This is driving me crazy
