4 pin CPU power

I have a MSI B75MA-P45 motherboard and a Corsair Enthusiast TX650 power supply.

While assembling my board out of the case to make sure the components worked I found out that my CPU power supply on the motherboard is 4 pins while my Corsair CPU power supply has 8 pins. Is there an adapter I can get for this?

Motherboard CPU power = 4 pin female

Power Supply CPU cable = 8 pin male

Nevermind, I figured out that the 8 pin power supply split into 2 4 pin ones so I did that and the motherboard powers up but the CPU fan is really loud and fast and I get a message saying the Shell Version is 2.31 and cannot find required map name. Any ideas?

I'm using the stock fan and I guess that since this is my first build I was scared by how loud it was in the open.

However, when I checked the BIOS it said that my CPU was only 38C and when I pick the motherboard up it isn't as loud.

So I think everything is fine.

Thanks for your time.
