40 pin ide

i have a (relatively) old dvd drive and just built a new comp

i have a msi 870s-g46 motherboard and it doesn't have a 40 pin connector, what can i do?

You can't install the ODD directly to the mobo, but you can pick up an adapter and connect the drive via USB.
