First off, thanks in advance for the help and any advice. This is my first time not going the pre-built route and my last pc was stolen. I did attempt on my own to put something together for my cousin to go over, but hes tied up and cant get around to it. It came out to about $450 and I'd like to get the price lower if i can. I'm sure its f'ed up but I wouldn't mind knowing where I went wrong. Also, the monitor I have is a Acer X221W if that matters.

For about $10 more you can get a 1tb 7200rpm drive on NewEgg. I also feel that the PSU is overkill. You should be able to get a 450w PSU for cheaper.
