MSI's page of the GTX 1660 recommended the minimum wattage of 450, but I currently only have a CX430M on hand.
PCPartPicker shows that my estimated wattage is 310W, is it safe if I use the CX430M to power my PC?

  • Memory: Apacer 16GB DDR4-2666 PC4-21300 CL19 AU08GGB26CQYBGH DIMM Desktop Memory

i suggest getting a 1660 super, almost same price, much better performance.

As for your question, That psu's wattage and quality are just not enough for that system.
I suggest getting a new one.

I currently already own all the parts on hand...
I’ve been getting some conflicting replies from other PC builders, some say it’s safe but does not have much room for upgrade.

I would say it is safe but not much room for upgrade, Since as long as you don't power virus it, the wattage is just barely enough.

The reason i say it's not safe, is because that is a very old, and not amazing psu to begin with.
I would be damned if it got 430watts regularly and could sustain it, or close to it.
