[SOLVED] 511-CPU fan not detected.

So I've been dealing with this issue for a long time and I'm now deciding to look into it. Whenever I boot my PC it says 511-CPU fan not detected. If I plug the CPU fan into the case fan slot it works. I'd paste images but it won't let me. I want to upgrade my PC but I want to fix this first. Thank you!

Since you have your fan plugged into a CASE fan header, I presume there is NO fan plugged into the CPU_FAN header. That is why you are getting that message. And that is the wrong way to do it.

Post back here the maker and exact model number of your motherboard. Also tell us what CPU cooler system yo have - make and model if possible.
