ok i want to put a new chip in my abit th7 2, a 533 fsb one, will it be ok as i can just up my fsb to 133?
if i want to overclock should there be any problems with upping it further, if i put my rdram down to 3 x, i should still be able to get a good overclock if i fix my pci bus???
or shall i get a 2.4 400fsb one.
any advice?
thanks people

A Northwood B will run perfectly on a TH7II, but PC1066 doesn't always run fine on it. Stability is pretty much guaranteed on a TH7II PC800 and a Northwood B. The TH7II includes the proper PCI to FSB ratios, so don't worry about that. Yes, definitely get a Northwood B, even with just PC800, a Northwood B is 5% faster than a Northwood A of the same clock speed. I'm running my P4 2.26GHz without a hitch on the TH7II. It's a great overclocking board really as long as you use the 3X mem multiplier.
