Hey guys. I have a new gpu coming in and i was wondering if a 550w psu will be enough for a strix rtx 2070s? The 3 fan one. My cpu is a ryzen 5 3600x and strix x470f mobo. My psu is a corsair RM550X 80 plus gold. Let me know.

Solution
The rm550x is a very good psu, and can handle 100% load pretty well. But, you will be encroaching that 100% power draw frequently putting increased strain on the psu's components and running at decreased efficiency, so I too would look into getting a 650w or so psu as well.

As long as you're not overclocking anything your system is unlikely to use more than 400 watts, even while gaming. It should be ok to use the RM550x for now, but an upgrade in the near future would be advisable to keep the PSU at peak efficiency around 40-50%. Until then the RM550x is fine to use.
