550w psu enough?

my specs are:
ryzen 7 1600x
rx 580 8gb
16gb ram

Just get a 600w and you can put everything you want and upgrade putting whetever you want on your build.If you want to upgrade to a 1070 or 1080 you better upgrade to a 600w that's why I will highly recommend you to get a 600w that you way you will have none problems.

Yes, it's fine as long as it's a good quality unit.

Now if you want more headroom for future upgrades then you can get a good quality 650W PSU.

550w would be good for a 1080. Now for a Vega or a 1080ti then you may want a larger psu.
