5570 or 5670 or 6670

I'm looking for something that will run on my rig without my CPU/RAM bottleneck'ing it.
I only have the option of upgrading my RAM next to my GPU as well.

So is it the 5570 or 5670 or 6670? Or neither and I should get a low end card like 5550 or 4650?

The HD 6670 would be a good for that system. Just make sure that you have the latest BIOS update for your motherboard.

What exactly should I look for when updating my Bios?

I mean what does my Motherboard not support and needs to be supported for 6670 to work?

Just download and install the latest one that's available from the manufacturer's website.

Really? Because I still kind of feel the 6670 is a bit too much for my rig. It's pretty old.

the 6670 is not a storing card but a HTPC one so it won't be bottlenecked.The 5670 will only be bottlenecked by an intel celeron.Anything above is OK

Sorry for the double post, but I thought I would add that my Mobo only has a PCI-E 1.0 slot not a 2.0

PCI-E is backwards compatible, so it should work. The 6670 is the most powerful card you can run off that generic PSU. Going for a more powerful card need a PSU upgrade, and faster cards may be bottlenecked by the CPU, unless you OC it.

get a 6670 it should run on the old psu/smps as it does not require any external power input, trhe 5770 requires extra power input... i am using the 6670 and it run all the games without any problems by monitor res is 1440X900
