5770 vs 6770

how huge is the difference between 5770 and 6770..

as per the site by amd.. 5770 is almost at par with 6770.. but is it worth a amount difference

6770 is just a rebadge, same chip as the 5770.

Both uses the same graphic core.

HD 6670 cards includes a few minor changes like HDMI 1.4a instead of HDMI 1.3. Overall, you'll get the same performance.

I think HDMI 1.4a connection allows for 3D, but the monitor / HDTV must also have HDMI 1.4a too... And if you want to play 3D games or 3D movies, then it's better to buy a nVidia card for easier setup.
