I have a 5850 running in a HAF 932 case. While running Crysis with all settings on High, CCC on my second monitor was showing 70-75 Celsius. Activity was maxing out at 100%. On idle, it's getting around 50 Celsius.

Fan percentage is staying around 25-30%, and won't go any higher, despite the increase in temperature.

Any idea how to lower the temperatures, or what might be causing this high heat? Or is this just normal for this card?

Also, is there a program I can use to change the fan speed manually? The ATI Overdrive feature needs to be unlocked, and I'm guessing the warning message means that it'll void the warranty, so I rather not use this method to change the fan speed.

Solution
Unlock it, it wont hurt anything. This way you can set your fan speed to something
like 50% or whatever you like.
They always give those warnings.

Plus ATI tools settings are limited for things like overclocking.
