Hi,
I just bought another 5870 (XfX edition) for $70 bucks so i can set them up in a crossfire config with my other 5870 (ASUS voltage tweak edition) to play bf3. This is my first time setting up a crossfire configuration, so I'm a noob on the subject. I'm using a M5A97 motherboard and i have a Thermaltake TR2 Bronze 800W Psu and i know i have enough power.
Basically i plugged the new gpu in (XfX underneath, Asus one on top) and insert the power connecters, crossfire bridge etc and when i turn it on and get to my desktop, everything enlarges and basically the driver fucks itself up, so i have to unplug it and do a system restore.
Can someone tell me step by step how to get this setup working? :(

Uninstall the drivers, restart, reinstall them.

I definitely would not run two 5870s on that PSU, considering how bad the 750W unit is. Although they reused the tr2 name on a new series which is less of a time bomb, but id assume yours is the older one

Do you know how to check if i have the older one? and what's a good cheap PSU that you would recommend?
