SLI 590 is actually manageable, it runs around 85C so be sure your computer is well ventilated to help out. Also make sure you have no less than 1000W from a reliable power supply. I would go for either Seasonic, Corsair, Antec, or Eneramax at this range. XFX are decent but I prefer EVGA because they have an awesome customer service and a step up program. XFX will work fine though.

I have a 1000w silverstone stride plus PSU. Im asking because i see different types of 590's and am wondering if the one i linked was an older model of them or what the deal was. So "Those" 590's would be good to get?

The GTX 590 is the fastest right now. I think you should stick with one for now because it will probably handle every games you throw at it [max settings]. I don't think you will ever require another one any time soon.

Ok so even the the 6990 is a 4g card and the 590 is a 3G card, your saying that the 590 is better? One card will run everything on Mex for sure, cause I'm willing to buy 2? I'm coming off a Mac computer with windows partitioned on it, so my gaming experience sucked. Just tired of playing on lowest settings, so if one card "might" run max... Then I'll get two lol. I'm looking for definite max settings here.

I just got the EVGA 590 Classified a week ago and it will run any game at max setting even in 3d no problem. Its a beast! The only reason you would need 2 590s is if you are going to be running triple monitor setup in 3d. 3d uses 2x the GPU load. Triple monitor vision surround uses 3x GPU load.

I'm going to run triple monitors, just not in 3D. So one will do fine with three monitors and can you link me where you bought your card please, just wondering if it's the same exact as in link above?

What resolution monitors? Do you already have them? If you dont you are talking about some big bucks... Hope you got deep pockets. 3x 1920x1080 monitors you will be able to run most games at maxed or almost maxed with decent framerates. 3x 2560x1600 monitors yes you would need a good SLI configuration for that. But in the 590s case 2 590s would be quad SLI b/c each 590 has 2 580s running on one board in SLI.

As for my purchased I shopped around for @ a month for the best price and i got lucky and found a amazing deal. I got the EVGA Classified 590 Limited Edition for only $549 + tax at Microcenter, reg $799. How i got it was I purchased an i5 2500k from them a couple weeks prior and they sent me a special coupon for 20%off any GPU. And the 590s are so new its very hard to find a good deal on them. So i went to pick up the 590 in store and the box seal was broken, but card was brand new. I spoke to the manager and she gave me an additional discount. Like i said i got lucky.

Agree with Wintermint EVGA has top notch customer service. The card comes with a 90 day technical support 24/7 so ive called them in the middle of the night and they helped greatly. Also EVGA has a LIFETIME warranty on their card that even covers overclocking, now that amazing! So you can overclock the crap out of the 590 and if you blow it EVGA will replace it for you! Just have to make sure you register the card within 30 days or ur SOL.

Looks awsome. You are going to have one sweet setup. I would try one 590 first just to get your system up and running. If anythings doesnt run how you want then you can always add another 590 later at probably a cheeper price. B/c you know technology, the longer you wait the cheaper it gets.

I'm on phone driving atm but is there any chance you can link me a 590 to buy I saw a few different versions of it and not sure the differences? I just want something for 3 monitor setup that rocks. Btw I really appreciate all your help, thank you.

I think I'm gonna go with this... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130659&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Video+Cards-_-EVGA-_-14130659
I'm sure this willbe fine with asus revolution Mobo and 1000w psu, but will my set up handle two of these if I decide to go with two? Any recommendations on a water cooling setup for two of those video cards? I never used water-cooling and am wondering if there's a really simple setup ICANN use for them and is it even worth it to get water cooling for them?

Sorry my lifetime warranty was directed towards the evga 590.

ASUS GeForce GTX 590 (Fermi) 3072MB Video Card
Chipset Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Core Clock: 612MHz
Stream Processors: 1024 (512 x 2) Processor Cores
Effective Memory Clock: 3420MHz

EVGA 03G-P3-1596-AR GeForce GTX 590 (Fermi) 3072MB
Chipset Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Core Clock: 630MHz
Shader Clock: 1260MHz
Stream Processors: 1024 (512 x 2) Processor Cores
Model #: 03G-P3-1596-AR

As u can see the official specs on the card the core clock and shaded clock run at higher speeds on the EVGA, which in turn into better performance and frame-rate. But hey they are both amazing cards. I would stay away from the Zotac brand, who knows how long they will be around. Amazon has them in stock but you are going to pay full price minus tax.

So your saying this one is good then http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130659&nm_mc=OTC-Froogle&cm_mmc=OTC-Froogle-_-Video+Cards-_-EVGA-_-14130659, because it's the one im interested in?

What's the comparison to the evga you bought and is this one worth the extra money?

Lol. U got a lot of research to do dude. Fermi is the architect the most current graphics cards are made. Next will be Kelper, then Maxwell. Each will have more performance per watt that the previous. http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/21/nvidia-reveals-fermis-successor-kepler-at-28nm-in-2011-maxwel/

That is a water cooled GPU. If this is your first time installing a water cooled system I would advise you get it installed by a professional or at least some one that has installed one b4. If you get the components wet it's history. Nice card BTW.
