Hi, I’m in the U.K. and my flat can’t get broadband and no one is willing to attach our building to their service. So my only option seems to be 5G WiFi. I’m using this with EE and get 140mbps and play on a PS5 by Ethernet but I seem to get micro stutters all the time. Is there anything I can do or is this just the case because I’m on a SIM card wifi router? My router is the Huawei 5G one

Part of the problem is probably because many wireless carriers use CGNAT as well. There's too many opportunities for bottlenecks with wireless carriers.

Wifi in itself is not the problem as there are plenty of microwave broadband and small wifi ISPs out there, but cellular carriers are simply not up to snuff when it comes to gaming.

I would sign up for starlink beta if you can mount a dish on the top of your FLAT.

If not, I would look into an actual non-cellular based wireless internet service provider(wisp) in your area.

Here's a website with a list of WISP providers in your area, some are cellular but many of fixed wireless broadband which is what you want: https://www.ukwispa.org/members-list
