64MB GeForce 2 Ultra Benchmarks.. .. HOW?

Hey,
I have a 1.1GHz-T.bird-based system with a GeForce 2 Ultra (Annihilator 2 Ultra from Creative) in a 4X AGP slot. I've been getting only around 20-30 FPS average in Unreal Tournament in 800x600 resolution. I'm somewhat disappointed, as according to Tom's benchmarks, I should be getting a LOT higher frame-rate. Also, every now and then my system locks up and it just doesn't seem as fast as a 1.1GHz SHOULD seem.
Any help? The diagnostics for the Annihilator 2 Ultra say everything checks out A-OK, but..

Need more info. What drivers are you using? What motherboard do you have? What OS are you running?

Ah! My apologies. KT7-RAID motherboard, WinME OS.. I've updated my BIOS and drivers as much as possible, but still to no avail.

Oh, also.. I just noticed.. The diagnostics on my card don't register that it's in an AGP (let alone 4X AGP) slot!
