and read Probable k8l features.

doesn't seem Intel will have the performance crown for long

HAHAHAHA

Becareful using wickipedia, it is not the best source :) ...

There are conflicting reports as to how K8L will cut into the line-up, some roadmaps that have leaked don't show it appearing until the summer of 2007, others show it sometime in Q1. Some news reporst say Brisbane is K8L, others make no mention of it.

There has already been a discussion on this in another thread, all the referenced links to back up the previous paragraph are there.....

Also, could you post the benchmarks or performance data that supports your conclusions above.... thanks.

good think you've concluded that K8L will perform better than anything intel will have at the time K8L is released when; we haven't seen the performance numbers for the best of what intel will have at that time (only what's currently floating around), and there are no performance numbers or even working chips for K8L.

I have seen posts from AMD fanboys saying that 65nm K8L will appear by 2006 end itself.... :D

But then, someone here has also said that AMD will have Carbon Nanutubes before Intel has 45nm.

K8L will at best narrow the gap or match "todays" Core 2 performance.
Thats all you need to know.
Uhh bullsh*t Ycon you don't know what you're talking about the current k8 matches core duo neck and neck!

he's talking core 2. but even then he hasn't seen K8L performance so he shouldn't really say anything.

Ycon.... how do you know this? Have you seen benchmarks that no one else has seen of it already? Are you so familiar with the tech involved in both architectures that you know just by looking at paper which will be faster? No, none of this is true.... no one can honestly say for sure what it will be in comparison to conroe. So why don't you tell the truth and say you "think", rather than make it seem like you know something..... That's all YOU need to know.

Do it man.... that would be hilarious.... put something crazy in there though.... and then link it here.... say that AMD is skipping Carbon nano tubes, and moving to something beyond that.

Just to be a tool, I should go to wikipedia and edit it.
I would love to see it.

Ycon is an intel plant he gets payed for every pro intel post here you know.

Dude if AM did that it would be awesome. :D
