[SOLVED] 6827 MB WINDRIVER Basic Data Partition

I've just completed a fresh Windows 10 installation on my ACER NITRO 5 laptop (which comes with a NVMe 512 GB SSD). Now I have this "WINDRIVER" partition which allocates 6827 MB out of 512 GB SSD storage:

And it has an AUTORUN file in it along with some driver folders.

I wonder, what is this partition used for? Is it safe to remove or shrink it? If not, is there any way to make it invisible in the file explorer?

Was that partition there before?
Seems like it was a factory thing, containing the original drivers.

To make it "invisible" in File Explorer, just remove the D drive letter.
Disk Management does that easily.

Yeah, it seems like that but it's a big one though. What would you recommend? Should I keep it or remove it?

I would discover what is in it before removing anything.
Copy that out to your normal backup media. Then decide what to do with that partition. Or just remove the drive letter.
