6870 2gb vs gtx 550 ti 2gb

hello, im looking to buy a graphics card under $200 and i found these 3 on newegg.ca/ if you find anything better in the same price please post. these has great reviews

they are all the same card and will perform pretty much the same. The 2 with OC will be slightly faster but you can manually OC all three.

the 6870 will perform just as well for cheaper.

I agree with esrever, the 6870 is cheaper and performs literally the same. Here is one for $50 less.

What kind of computer are you using? You can't get any of these cards if you have a stock Dell or HP or something.

Restricting my search to just Newegg Canada, you could go with one of the various 6870s that are selling for $180 like : http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102948

That would give you similar performance. But if you have an nvidia preference then those cards are not bad. There's a 560ti going for $220. But of those you are comparing I prefer the Asus over the other two, it already has a nice OC and might go higher without too much trouble: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121446

you'd have to go with the 6870, it's 2 tiers above the 550 ti on the hierarchy chart and generally competes with the faster gtx 560:

6870 by a long shot. But you don't need the 2gb version for gaming at 1920x1080 or under. You say "cheaper" so the 6870 1gb would be better value.
