Hi,
I have a system with the following specs -
Intel i7 - 6700k
Gigabyte GA-Z170-D3H Mobo
16 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 x 2
Zotac GTX970 Graphics
Adata M.2 250gb
Cooler Master 600W PSU
I have been using this system for the past 7 years. Sometimes, the system would randomly reboot with no BSOD and I ignored it as it was quite rare.
Recently, it started rebooting randomly and would be stuck in a boot loop. Boot screen would show up and it would automatically restart. I would shut the power out for a few minutes and then it would start normally. When it's on, it runs pretty well. Until, suddenly, it would restart.
Now it is currently stuck in a boot loop. It automatically turns on and reboots every 5 to 8 seconds.
I have tried the following fixes -
1. Put new cmos battery. Reset cmos values.
2. Put a new PSU to check and it still does the same.
3. Removed everything except PSU, MOBO and CPU and it still switches on and now reboots every 2 seconds.
Please advise what to do! System was running fine (except for rare reboots) till recently. No changes were done. and now its stuck in a boot loop.
