700@933 Problems

Hi all my 700@933 I think has problems. Alice and other games except FPS like Q3A and UT. Whenever I play them the screen will freeze and the sound keeps on repeating. Can this be that the CPU is too hot? I know my V5 had played these games before without any trouble it is just with this new cpu. Also my CPU temp is at 45c and I am using a golden orb for slot1 secc2 P3. If any of you guys can help I would appreciate it. Again this isn't in the desktop nor alot of games just FPS. Thanks.

Sounds like you are running the memory just a litle to fast try reducing mem speed and see if that helps.

Well it is Pc133 cas2 memory from Crucial so I doubt that is it. Do you think the cpu can be getting hot? When I look at hardware monitor it says it is running at 45c. To me that isn't to hot but who knows.

I got it working it was the voltage had to bump it up to 1.70 thanks.

Sorry I did not respond earlier-that would have been my suggestion. BTW, if it everlocks up again try 1.75v. 1.70v locked up occasionally on mine due to voltage variation in the ps.
