72 degrees OK for a 4690k @4.4ghz?

I have been running an aida64 stress test on my cpu now for 12 hours and i stopped it just now, it was completely stable @1.325v (any lower it crashes) should i leave it at this or should i go back to 4.2ghz where i was maxing 63 degrees, my cpu cooler is a h100i gtx

Yes it is OK and within its thermal limits. Normal load will not see that temp.

I have noticed it can reach the same temps in game though

It is still fine though. Little higher than I would expect but the Volts is the cause of that.
