720p and a Radeon 5750

Hi all.


would this card:

run games on high to very high settings at 720p (1280x720)
its a 32" lcd
i sit 6 feet away from the screen
should I get a 1080p monitor?

games in mind are

Guild Wars 2
planetside 2
Skyrim
Battlefield 3

I'm not sure about Battlefield 3, but I'm pretty sure the rest will run fine for that!

I know, I can play Skyrim maxed out in 1920x1200 with a GTX 550 Ti - which should be about the HD5770.

But if you are buying a card now, I would look for something newer? Unless you can get it used or so. I bought my GTX 550 Ti used for $60 and it was worth it!

i think can HD5770 maxed out battlefield 3 in 720p
in 1680x1050 res on high quality setting 38fps so if you lower the res to 720 i think it can maxed out

thanks for that link west, it gave me a good idea of where ill be at with my card
