7600gt or 6800gs?

For a mid-range card, which is better? The 7600 can pump out a reported 700 million vertices/second, but the memory is only 128-bit and the max bandwidth is around 22 gb/sec, all compared to 530 million vertices/second, 256-bit memory, and 31 gb/sec. Keep in mind that I also found the 7600gt for a low of $185 US while the 6800gs for $170.

X850XT for $154 will pwn them both. But no PS3.

The 7600GT is about half-way between the 6800GS and 7800GT level of performance....

I'm not sure an X850XT can defeat it in the majority of games...

can you find any FEAR/BF2/Q4 benchmarks directly comparing the x850xt/7600GT with latest drivers (recent Nvidia drivers provide a nice boost in FEAR!) for both products? (Even a comparison with 6800GS and 7800GT wil do, as we can easily extrapolate the 7600GT's performance in between the two)
