[SOLVED] 8-pin CPU EPS to 8-pin PCIe ?

i have a a slightly used dell t5500 875w psu it has 2 cpu 8pin n 2 pcie 6pin so whats better 8pin eps to 8pin pcie adapter vs 2x6pin to 1x8pin pcie adapter also in the future i plan to install a gpu that requires 1x8pin n 1x6pin

So whats better option 8pin cpu to 8 pin pcie adapter or 2x6 pin to 8pin adapter?

And just don't use adapters, if you start needing adapters you need a better psu.

The question is flawed; both options are terrible. It's a bit like asking your doctor if meth or heroin is safer.

There really is no answer because any adapters, which ever way they are, are just as bad an option versus have the right connections to begin with.

The 8 pin cpu connector is wired differently so never an option. The other is not adviced as you see.
