802 11n router and usb adapter but only 802 11g connection

I have a Linksys 803.11n Router and a Netgear 803.11n USB adapter but my wireless connection is 803.11g. Why?

Has to be a settings issue - more likely at the adapter end. In View Wireless Networks>VChange Advanced Settings>Configure see if G is the only option selected.[/#000ff]
