CPU: i5 2400 as requested $194.99 ( there is a $10 CC which ends today so i left it out )
MB: GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 $129.99
Memory: Gskill RipjawsX 2x2GB 1.5V CAS9 1600Mhz 43.99 ( $9 CC not included as it ends today )
GPU: Sapphire Radeon 6870 $179.99 ( before $20 MIR )
HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB $64.99 ( might get it cheaper elsewhere )
DVD: Sony 24x DVD+/-RW $18.99
Case: Antec 300 Illusion $69.99
PSU: Antec HCG-750 750W PSU $94.99 ( before $25 MIR )

Total: 808.55 ( shipped to continental US, without CC's or MIR's. $744.55 after MIR's and CC's )

You can probably still fit in 2x4GB memory instead if you want to, but the 4GB should be enough.
The 6870 should run most things at pretty high settings on your 1600x900 resolution.
And you can simply buy a 2nd 6870 and put that in for crossfire if you run out of juice, the PSU, Mobo and Case can handle it.
