Hello,Everyone, I am new to this community so here is my topic.
I am going to upgrade my 8400 GS to 450 GTS 1GB.I have a 400 Watt PSU, NO SMPS.How much does a 450 GTS cost and how much will a 550 Watt SMPS cost.My current rig is
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93 GH
4 GB RAM
Dual OS WinXp and Win7 32bit both
400 W PSU

Well when I was using my dual core almost 2 years ago along with a GTS250 I was getting serious bottleneck issues... said enuf if you ask me

Sorry for a late reply, but they did not have a GTS 450 or at least a 250 GTS which was an alternative GPU.
Any way, do you know any other sites like that ?

Yeah. They do actually! I ordered one from www.lynx-india.com. Which is a Haryana based shop and i am from Pune. That too a HDD, which is far more sensitive than a GPU. It reached me safely and is working fine for more than a year now!

EDIT: Sorry, it will celebrate its birthday on the 18th of this month! 😀

Many thanks for answering all my questions.
Can you answer this as well, it would be most appreciated
I dont know whether a coolermaster Real power Pro 450 W will fit inside my iball computer case ( Cabinet )
Don't know whther a 450 GTS will fit also. Could you look at the dimensions of the cabinet, PSU and GPU. Hope this isnt a burden for you.

Why not cooler master ? what is wrong with it ? Mostly after reading many reviews, coolermaster is good to right ?
I mean, Corsair is good.
By the way, I asked my friend in a hardware shop near my house and they said that they had a 450 GTS. The brand is of Asus.
After googling , I found out that, there was only the TOP version of it. And that too at Rs. 7000 and above but not above Rs.8000.
IS there a plane, stock clock version of Asus. My friend didn't tell me about that though.

Real Power pro series is ok. The Extreme Power series is total crap. But why settle for something that has a bad reputation when you can get something which is the best, that too which fits your budget. If you want to go for the CM one then go for it. No problem, but you may face issues in the future.

HD 5770 is not available near my house or in other hardware shops. In kerala, ATI brands are very few and NVIDIA is the most popular one. Also, I am a bit too afraid of ordering it from sites.
